It sometimes seems as if downtown Stuttgart is taken over by big shopping malls and chain stores.
The Fluxus, a temporary concept mall in the heart of Stuttgart was a testimony of individuality and innovation. Filled with pop-up and concept stores it was a heaven to some and a nice shopping alternative to others. Comeing July it will be torn down and rebuilt. What will happen to the stores inside? Is there an alternative for up-and-coming owner-managed commerce in the “Kessel” or was the Fluxus the last of its kind?
